Virginia’s statewide Quitline, Quit Now Virginia, offers toll-free telephone smoking cessation counseling and a self-help Quit Kit to all Virginia resident sage 18 and older. Quit Now Virginia also provides comprehensive treatment services to Medicaid recipients and the uninsured. Treatment services are available in English and Spanish, with access to translation services for callers who speak other languages.

The Tobacco Use Control Project (TUCP) is a program within the Virginia Department of Health. The TUCP provides training, information, materials and other mechanisms to support the implementation of policies to help Virginians choose and maintain tobacco-free lifestyles.
